Tarnby Ice House
We finally got on the ice today for our practice on all 7 sheets. The ice conditions were great and we were thrilled to be back on the ice after having a week or so off. It is exciting to be a part on an international competition and hearing all different languages on the ice.
This evening we had an opening reception and dinner in a banquest hall over the addition of 2 sheets to the original ice house of 5 sheets. The Mayor of Taarnby spoke; he has been a huge suporter of curling and was instrumental in getting the ice house built in the town.
Tomorrow there will be a short opening ceremony and then our mens team will play Finland at 12:30 followed by our game against Ireland at 4 pm.
